i grew up loving greek myths, and the story of oedipus and of his children, of antigone, always made me feel a certain sort of emotion when i read them; i think this game just does a great job at capturing the weird sadness/melancholy? (not sure what to call it) of the myth

extremely well done

good job good job what a wonderful job

I have to say, this game is so good what the hell?

Well, I guess there was something wrong with their family.  This story was indeed tragic.

This is so good! Antigone has always been one of my favourite tragedies and you adapted it so well. Great work ♥️

Really really enjoyed this. Absolutely gorgeous art and the dialogue was so real and cutting. Fantastic adaptation

A gorgeous adaptation of Antigone, I love this very much. It's a short one but I really do have to take a break in some places because how heavy ... (and borderline oppressive) the atmosphere is.

Recc'ing this VN here on my Twitter, I am looking forward to more of your works!

Haven't finished the game yet, but it's great! Also, is Annie dating her cousin?

edit: finished it. what an ending. I'm not that much of a greek mythology geek, so i don't really know the characters.

Yep, Antigone and Haimon are cousins, both in the original and in this adaptation. As he says, there's something seriously wrong with this family...

this was way more tragic than i was expecting.... loved it.

This was absolutely perfect. I'll be thinking about this for ages.

This was great, I loved the part where Antigone took the stairs.

Thank you so much for trying it despite not knowing much about Greek mythology/tragedy. It's completely surreal to me that you went and made an entire playthrough video - seeing a less knowledgeable-about-the-play reaction was really interesting and absolutely great. Can't express how much this means to me.

This was also my first real experience of Antigone. I'm pretty sure I've read the Wikipedia summary at least once, but this was still effectively blind. It seems like a very worthy adaptation.

(I am, admittedly, largely taking it as a caution against living in an apartment with so much mold and possibly heavy metal contamination that it gives everyone a mental health crisis. Side effect of the remarkably clever idea of making them landlords.

...and also of adapting the presumably-traditional ending, rather than "hello, fire department? So, my uncle has barricaded everyone inside the building, and promised to kill me if I bury my dead brother. Can you come break the door down?")

This comment made me laugh. You're absolutely right: there's mold, metal contamination, and there is definitely a gas leak in Thebes Towers, and all of those things are at least 90% responsible for the plot occurring. (The other 10% is Creon. It's always Creon's fault.)
